Mark
your calendars to enjoy several musical offerings at FUMC Pasadena in
conjunction with the Make Music Pasadena festival, coming Saturday, June
16th, 2012.
Starting
at 12:30 PM, the Johnny Mercer Children's Choir, an inspirational choir coming from the Braille Institute. Comprised of blind and visually impaired children between the ages of 8 to 18
coming from Los Angeles and Orange County.
Next up
at 1:15 PM, the renowned FUMC Pasadena Handbells take the stage to ring in the
festival with their joyful noise of melodic bells.
At 2:00
PM the Afro-beat jazz ensemble Earthcake takes the sanctuary stage.
Then,
the Dulcet Singers wrap up the day at 2:45 PM as their a capella polyphony fills the
sacristy.
Docent
tours will be available as announced for those who want a tour of the historic
church.
As
with all Make Music Pasadena events, these performances are free and open to
the public.
