FUMC Joins Make Music Pasadena in 2012

Mark your calendars to enjoy several musical offerings at FUMC Pasadena in conjunction with the Make Music Pasadena festival, coming Saturday, June 16th, 2012. 

Starting at 12:30 PM, the Johnny Mercer Children's Choir, an inspirational choir coming from the Braille Institute.  Comprised of blind and visually impaired children between the ages of 8 to 18 coming from Los Angeles and Orange County.

Next up at 1:15 PM, the renowned FUMC Pasadena Handbells take the stage to ring in the festival with their joyful noise of melodic bells.

At 2:00 PM the Afro-beat jazz ensemble Earthcake takes the sanctuary stage.

Then, the Dulcet Singers wrap up the day at 2:45 PM as their a capella polyphony fills the sacristy.

Docent tours will be available as announced for those who want a tour of the historic church.

As with all Make Music Pasadena events, these performances are free and open to the public.
